What The Fork Monarchs wish to thank all supporters for their terrific backing throughout 2022.

The team enjoyed another productive season on track, again reaching the end of season Play Offs and progressing to the semi final coupled with another Knock Out Cup run reaching the semi final stage also.

What The Fork Monarchs Co-Promoter Alex Harkess said, "Looking at the season across the piece we can be reasonably content. We had a slow start as the lower end of the team found their feet but we improved throughout.

"Sam and Josh were tremendous all season and we couldn't have asked for more. The rest of the team had their moments and we pressed on into two semi finals.

"The ambitions of our Club are greater than that and we will be pushing to go all the way in 2023."

Fellow Co-Promoter John Campbell extended his thanks to all who made the season possible, "Nothing would be possible without the incredible continued backing of our fans - you are wonderful. Your passion and commitment continues to drive us on to make the Monarchs the best Club around worthy of the best supporters that we already have.

"Thank you to our sponsors What The Fork and Stellar Omada for their significant support as well as all of our other sponsors and advertisers who provide such crucial backing.

"We have a large team of staff who volunteer their time across the Club to keep the Monarchs on track - thank you all."

2022 has been something of a rollercoaster off-track, continued Campbell, "There are many reasons to be positive with the Monarchs Speedway Academy going from strength to strength culminating in the wonderful Academy Championship at our final meeting of the season. EMTV has also continued to develop and grow once again and is now a vital part of our Club.

"Early in the season we had the initial shock that 2022 could be our last year at Armadale Stadium. We were then able to bring forward our impressive plans for West Lothian Community Stadium before the site fell through.

"With thanks to our excellent landlords at Armadale, the stadium is thankfully available for speedway once again in 2023. We are continuing to formalise this agreement and will bring forward further news on this as soon as possible. Our efforts to secure the long term future of the Monarchs continue also."

Monarchs are now making plans for 2023 with British Speedway's AGM due to take place on Tuesday 15th November to confirm the set up of the sport for next season.

An important part of this planning process is played by the Monarchs annual Supporters Survey which offers fans the chance to share their views on a broad range of topics and assist in crafting future improvements at the Club.

Complete the survey before midday on Wednesday 30th November to be entered into the draw to win a 2023 Monarchs Legends calendar. The survey may take around 15 minutes to fill out and you can share your thoughts in the survey here:
