Tapesup As The Monarchs Hit The Air

The Edinburgh Monarchs are delighted to announce they are to take to the airwaves with the launch of ‘Tapesup’ a new weekly speedway radio show to be broadcast on Rock Sport Radio every Sunday night.

The show will broadcast from 9 to 10pm starting this Sunday as well as in podcast form shortly after the conclusion of the broadcast and is a partnership between the Monarchs and the Glasgow Tigers. This partnership will see the Monarchs press officer Graham Muncie joined by Glasgow counterpart Derek Smith for some friendly banter and star guests.

This is a first in Scottish speedway history and all involved cannot wait to get started with Muncie saying “This is an excellent opportunity for us to really make our mark and get Scottish speedway the media profile it deserves. I’m looking forward to the friendly banter between myself and Derek as we showcase the best of what the Edinburgh-Glasgow rivalry has to offer. This will not be all that we have on the show though with guests and interviews a plenty. I think this will be a can’t miss for all speedway fans in Scotland and beyond and I can’t to get the ball rolling on this.”

Rock Sport Radio is Scotland’s only dedicated sport and music channel and broadcasts on DAB digital radio as well as online.
