Ricky Wells tumbled out of the meeting on Friday night after a heat 11 crash left him battered and bruised down his left side. However, he intends to ride on this week lining up for his Premiership team, Rye House, in their home match against Belle Vue on Wednesday.

Said Ricky, "I was very sore down my left side after the crash and the track paramedic even suggested that I might have cracked some ribs. I know the only cure for a rib injury is rest but I'm a racer so I can't do that. I'll line up for the Rockets against the Aces on Wednesday and then it will be across to Swindon for the Rockets again on Thursday before heading up the road to Armadale on Friday night."

Ipswich are the first team this year to name a full 1 to 7 for their visit to Armadale and in King, Schlein and Sedgmen they have three real track experts. Those three will have excellent backing from Heeps and Newman so the Parsons Peebles Monarchs can expect a battle royal against the Witches.

New averages will see Max Clegg and Josh Pickering swap places in an otherwise unchanged team.

We still have good availability in VIP Hospitality for this mighty clash which could feature the Championship's top two teams.
