Stadium Clarification

News broke on Saturday lunchtime of the closure of Armadale Greyhound track. We would like to confirm that it is the greyhound side of the operations that have closed down. The stadium is still very much open for speedway.

Said Club Chairman, Alex Harkess, "We have received clarification from Billy Cochrane jnr of the stadium owning family that the greyhound operation has ceased with immediate effect but we have been assured that the stadium remains open and available for speedway."

Amicable talks took place with Glasgow on Saturday morning and after weekend results are known we expect to announce the restaging date of our final match with the Tigers by Monday morning.
