It is a much changed Peterborough squad that will arrive at Armadale on Friday evening for our penultimate Premier League match of the season.

Missing through injury is Richard Hall who last rode in the World Long Track Championship in Germany on Saturday. He hurt his shoulder there apparently. Struck down with sickness at the last moment are Kenneth Bjerre and Daniel Halsey. We haven't been told what the problem is. And Zdenek Holub has decided to stay at home and is withholding his services. That will probably end a not very promising British career for him.

With all these problems arising on Thursday we are told, the Panthers have had little time to secure replacements but they have come up with track expert Matthew Wethers, Jye Etheridge, a man out to show us what we're missing out on, and filling the reserve berths, never an easy task as we know from experience, Buxton's Shelby Rutherford and David Wallinger.

The challenge on the night, despite these call offs, is can anyone beat Craig Cook. There are plenty on the Border Roofing Monarchs side of the pits who would love to do so to redeem themselves for their performance at Ipswich on Thursday evening.

Gates open at 6.30pm and any unused advance tickets from previously rained off meetings are valid tonight.
