Race Day Update

It's a dry, sunny day at Armadale, and we haven't been able to say that on too many occasions this season, as we look forward to the visit of Somerset Rebels and their star guests to the stadium this evening. They are out to end our unbeaten home league record and we are just as keen to maintain it.

Unfortunately we have had a late call off from our team as Dan Bewley is not fit to resume and we are grateful to Stoke's Ben Hopwood for stepping in at the last moment.

On sale tonight for the first time will be tickets for our End of Season Dinner Dance which takes place in the Village Hotel, Crewe Toll Edinburgh on Saturday 5th November. Tickets are priced at £35 for the next month before rising to £40 thereafter. A deposit of £5 will reserve a ticket. Anyone wishing to stay the night at the hotel should phone direct on 0131 297 7111 quoting reference EDMo051116. Bed & Breakfast rates are £70 for a single room and £79 for a double/twin.

We'll be bringing you news of Erik Riss is evening who is racing in the second round of the World Under 21 Championship at Pardubice in the Czech Republic. Berwick's Thomas Jorgensen will take his place at Armadale.

Gates open at 6.30pm this evening for the start of proceedings at 7.30pm. Anyone holding an unused advance online ticket from anyone of our rained off meeting can use that ticket tonight.
