Our rained wrecked season continues with the postponement of tonight's derby match with Glasgow Tigers. It's our ninth wash out of the season but inevitable with a dreadful weather forecast for the afternoon.

We were already facing a challenging time to get the track ready for the match as overnight rain was followed by a very heavy shower just after ten o'clock this morning. However, the matter was taken out of our hands as rain began to fall before one o'clock and the forecast suggests that it will continue until past the scheduled start time of the match.

Said Club Chairman, Alex Harkess, "In a season of bitter weather blows this is perhaps the biggest. It's our biggest match of the season but also vital for our Play Off chances. We still have three home matches to run and, at the moment, we do not have agreement from Glasgow, Peterborough or Somerset for a return date, although the Tigers are actively considering the situation."

Supporters who purchased advance online tickets for the match can use them for the restaging of the match or for one of our other matches this season.

We now face an impossible task to complete our three outstanding home league matches before the cut off date for the Premier League Play Offs and may have to rely on others to guarantee our Play Off place.
