There haven't been many times this season that we have had no weather worries ahead of our Friday night action but it looks like all is set fair for tonight's KO Cup quarter final with Glasgow Tigers.

It's a busy night coming up at Armadale and not least for those that have purchased advance tickets. We would advise all those with these tickets to get there as early as possible to ensure that there is no delay in entering the stadium.

All those getting there early will be able to celebrate with Ed the Monarch on his birthday and he'll be giving away cake and Lion bars. As ever he'll be available for photographs and he invites all children to join him for an interval race. That will take place after heat 10 and we'll be announcing where to assemble during the meeting this evening.

We will also be uplifting our annual Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund collection. This will take place after heat 10 and the riders will be joining supporters on the terracing to uplift the collection.

Tonight will be the last chance to put your name down on the Edinburgh 100 Forth Road Bridge walk which takes place on Sunday.

The Allied Vehicles Tigers arrive with a 24 point lead from the first leg but the Border Roofing Monarchs will give it their best shot to overcome that deficit. Both teams are at full strength.

Stadium gates open at 6.30pm and season tickets are valid. Online advance tickets purchased for a previous rained-off meeting will be valid tonight. The stadium car park opens just after 5.00pm
