Dan's A Busy Man

Dan Bewley is an exceptionally busy young man and the moment and is catching the eye wherever he goes.

Last Thursday he had a guest outing for Somerset at Sheffield and had a good meeting there although his points were not enough to help the Rebels maintain their unbeaten record. Rain got the better of us all on Friday but that saved him some miles as he was off down south on Saturday.

He got a call up to guest for Glasgow at Rye House and he was certainly their match winner there including defeating home star and top rider in the Premier League, Edward Kennett. Sunday he was back up the road to ride for Belle Vue Colts in the National League Fours at Coventry and he helped them into second place. It's down south again on Monday for a National League match at Kent. Tuesday is a day off to prepare for our matches at Somerset and Sheffield before getting home to Cumbria after the match at Owlerton.

There won't be much rest as he'll be on the road again up to Armadale for our vital league match with Somerset, a meeting that will also decide the 2016 winner of the Premier Shield. The weekend could bring another two guest bookings.

Dan couldn't be happier with all this racing and would prefer to be racing on Tuesday as well. Dad Neil, who does all the driving, might have a different idea!
