With the opening of the 2016 season less than two months away the Border Roofing Monarchs are looking for some race night helpers for the new season.

The most high profile absentee in 2016 will be start marshal Jim Syme. He's been in charge at virtually every meeting at Armadale since we opened in 1997 but has decided that now is the time to stand down and enjoy the racing from the terraces. Although we have a replacement lined up for Jim that has opened up another vacancy in the track staff.

We are always keen to add to our on and off track staff. On track staff will generally commence duties shortly before start time and off track staff will start up to three hours earlier and finish at the start of the meeting. We have one position that we are particularly keen to fill, helping with admissions and starting at 5.00pm.

Anyone interested in joining our staff should email us here to confirm availability and we'd also be pleased to hear from last year's staff confirming willingness to continue. There will be a track staff meeting held nearer the start of the season.
