Our Play Off semi final opponents met in the first leg of the quarter final tonight at Sheffield's Owlerton Stadium and it was Peterborough who came out on top gaining a two point lead to take to the second leg at their track.

So Peterborough Panthers will be red hot favourites to be opponents in the Play Off semi final coming from 15 to 3 down after three heats to win 46 to 44 over Sheffield Tigers and they can, to a large degree, thank Ben Barker for that win. Ben rode unbeaten all night to score an eighteen point maximum. The second leg takes place at Peterborough on 25th September.

Berwick Bandits bring our home league campaign to an end at Armadale on Friday night and with a good weather forecast all should be well in completing the match. Victory for the Border Roofing Monarchs will see us finishing six point clear at the top of the league ahead of second placed Somerset. That will be another magnificent achievement for the team.

After tomorrow night we will turn our attention to the run in for trophies with the big match against Glasgow coming up next Friday.

We are experiencing huge demand for tickets for next week's Cup Final. Tickets remain on sale at extra special bargain prices until 11.59pm on Saturday night. They will also be available for sale in the stadium tomorrow night.

Anyone who has a readmission ticket from a previous match should be aware that it will be necessary to exchange this for a League Cup Final ticket by next Wednesday or a surcharge will be levied at the gate.
