Having watched his friend Uncle B on the TV Chase on Monday, Ed the Monarch is planning his own chase on Saturday night as part of his own birthday celebration at Armadale.

Ed will invite all children to join him on the track on Saturday after heat 12 to participate in Ed's Chase. Full details will be explained on Saturday but there will be a special prize for the winning chaser and a prize for all chasers. It's something special for the Kids on Ed's special night.

There are still spaces in VIP hospitality on Saturday night for anyone wishing to join Ed when he blows out the candles on his birthday cake. Book your tickets through the Buy Tickets link on the home page.

The Border Roofing Monarchs have a two point deficit to make up to qualify for the semi final of the Travel Plus Tours Knock Out Cup but are wary of not taking anything for granted following the shock cup result at Berwick last Saturday.

Another person celebrating a very special night on Saturday will be sixteen year old Lewis Millar from Bonnybridge. Lewis has been in our second half for a couple of years now but has really caught the eye since switching to a 500cc engine just a short time ago. He lines up as Border Roofing Monarchs number 8 on Saturday night.

Discounted online ticket sales will remain available until Friday at 11.59pm and season ticket holders are reminded that a new programme for the match will be available for them to purchase as they enter the stadium. Please bring the correct change(£2.50) for this and the appropriate admission charge.

Our reserves have had outings in the Elite League over the past couple of days. Max Clegg lined up for Lakeside at Belle Vue on Wednesday night and won heat 2 finishing with 4 points. On Thursday night it was Rob Branford's turn for some Elite action riding at number 7 for Swindon. He won heat 2 and also his last race to finish the night with six points.

Rob's off down to Lakeside on Friday to race for Swindon again and he'll find Craig Cook as a team-mate.
