When Rob Branford crashed out of match at Armadale on 12th June he spoke that night of being able to ride two days later at Glasgow. His hopes have subsequently proved to be somewhat optimistic.

Rob will be missing again from our matches this week at Redcar and Armadale despite undergoing extensive physiotherapy treatment over the past eight days. After a visit to his physio today Rob said, "I'm improving with every day but my physiotherapist has warned me that if I race this week and have a problem with my shoulder then I will set myself back to where I was a week ago. So I'm missing the Border Roofing Monarchs matches and also a Rye House National League match on Saturday."

The Border Roofing Monarchs will continue to use rider replacement in his absence but will hope that Rob is fit to resume in July as he will drop to reserve again.

Pre match day online tickets remain on sale at even lower prices than normal but please note that they are increasing in price every day.
