VISA CLARIFICATION

Following a meeting at the UK Visas and Immigration Office in Sheffield yesterday a number of Clubs have been asked to make a number of alterations to their administrative procedures with regard to their migrant workers. We can confirm that Edinburgh are one of the Clubs involved.

Alex Harkess, who attended Sheffield on behalf of the Club, said, "We had a compliance visit from UKVI late last season as did the majority of Clubs. The findings of the compliance visits were made known to us yesterday. From an Edinburgh point of view we are already putting in place some administrative changes suggested by UKVI. We expect to gain clearance from UKVI in due course."

Two of our team, Sam Masters and Justin Sedgmen hold visas to race in the UK. We anticipate that their arrival in the UK may be delayed until mid March but other than that it will be business as usual.
