So the big day has arrived and the first leg of the Premier League Championship Play Off takes place at the Oak Tree Arena in Somerset this evening

The Scotwaste Monarchs were pleased to hear of the early call off on Thursday of the meeting scheduled for Swindon. That ensured that Justin Sedgmen got into no problems racing in that meeting.

The Scottish based Monarchs have taken the opportunity to travel south early to ensure that there are no travel problems on Friday. That should also allow them to arrive fresher for the massive match ahead.

Advance tickets are selling exceptionally well and these will remain at the reduced price until 11.59pm on Friday evening. Of course there has been no increase in prices for the Championship Final.

We have produced an extra special Championship Magazine of 36 pages, 50% more pages than our normal programme. This will be on sale on Saturday evening priced £3.50.

Supporters are reminded that the stadium admission gates will open at 5.30pm and the car park will be open even earlier than that.

The departure times for the coach from Edinburgh have all been advanced by 30 minutes.
