Rain has turned out to be the only winner and tonight's Premier League match between the Scotwaste Monarchs and the Glasgow Tigers has been postponed due a waterlogged track.

There was a heavy shower at Armadale this morning but we had hoped that the day would dry up. However, with rain still falling at 3.00pm and more forecast until after five o'clock it was decided that the track was beyond recovery in time for start time.

A restating date is being sought at the moment although it is not possible to run on Saturday as three of the Glasgow team are flying out of the country on Saturday morning.

Supporters who have purchased tickets for tonight's match can use them for the restating of the match or at any match this season although there will be a premium to pay if the ticket is used on 12th September for the double header.
