Scotwaste Monarchs management have put out a call to all supporters attending Friday night’s British Championship Semi Final to get there early to avoid lengthy queues at the admission gates.

Scotwaste Monarchs co-promoter John Campbell said, “If our advance ticket sales are anything to go by then we’re inline to get our biggest crowd since 2008. Our advance ticket sales are at unprecedented levels. 42% higher than anything we’ve experienced before. I’ve even got to ask those who have bought advance tickets to come early as a last minute influx is highly likely to cause congestion.”

An excellent weather forecast also suggests that there should be none of our normal Friday night rain to deter anyone. Interest is high because home star Craig Cook is likely to put real pressure on his more illustrious Elite League rivals for a position on the winner’s rostrum.

There is a late change to the field. Carl Wilkinson has withdrawn to be replaced by Ashley Morris of Workington, who is far more of an Armadale track expert than Wilko has ever been.

Stadium gates will open promptly at 6.30pm and the parade of riders will be underway by 7.30pm.

A 32 page B5 sized programme has been produced for the event and will sell for £3.

Supporters should note that this is not a BSPA shared event and, therefore, tickets from last season’s abandoned PLRC at Sheffield are not valid.
