In spite of Friday’s postponement due to the first bad weather for ages, the track seemed in excellent condition for the team to have their practise session last night.

Even though they had been exerting themselves at their go-kart session in the afternoon, they all looked eager to get on the track. The circuit was dry so they didn’t even get their smart new race-suits dirty.

It was important for Micky particularly to have his first Armadale laps and he looked good. He did lock up and lose a chain at one point, and the chain ripped some of the spokes out of his back wheel.

Later on in the session we saw Andrew and Craig riding hard side by side, perhaps a heat 13 preview, and also Derek went out with Micky.

As well as the team, Scottish youngster Tommy Fenwick was in action, and a young German Michael Helfer was very impressive. Kevin Wolbert had been there on Friday but wasn’t able to return, but we will see him in the David Harrison Ford Scottish Open when the season starts next Friday.
