Andrew Tully and Craig Cook will attempt to improve on the Scotwaste Monarchs' poor recent record in the Premier Pairs when they race at Somerset on Friday evening, in front of what is sure to be a good crowd.

Andrew was paired with Ryan Fisher in the 2009 competition, and was unbeaten in his first two races. For Craig it is his first appearance in the competition.

Monarchs are in a tough group with Somerset, Sheffield, Ipswich and Redcar.

There will be a large contingent of Monarchs fans at the Cardiff GP on Saturday night, and on Monday of course the team race the second leg of the Spring Trophy at Glasgow.

Kevin Wolbert will return to the side, but Kalle Katajisto is on a holiday arranged before the date was know. Monarchs will use a guest replacement.
