We failed to get to grips with either the Islanders or the wet circuit and went down to our heaviest defeat of the season by 60-32 on Tuesday.

4-2 losses in the first three heats set the pattern and we didn't manage to gain a heat advantage, other than a heat 7 5-3 when Ryan took a second place on his TR.

Our only race winners were Matthew Wethers in heat 4, and Thomas Jonasson with the ride of the night, passing both Islanders in heat 11.

Guest Carl Stonehewer could do no better than three second places.

The track was heavily watered from the start on a sunny day, the conditions the Island riders like.
